Ken’s House & The New Inn, Clydach Thurs 29/5/25

We dropped in to visit our old friend and ex Squire and musician Ken who we’ve not seen in a while. We danced for around half an hour on his front drive, delighting both Ken, his family and also his neighbours. Ken was much impressed by our new dance The Curly Boar and the tune for it written by Sian

Afterwards, we drove a short distance to The New Inn at Clydach where the slight drizzle made fiddle playing impossible for Sian, but fortunately she had her tin whistle as plan B and so we were able to do 7 dances. Sadly, the evening came in swiftly due to the low lying mist and drizzle. First time this has happened in about ten visits we’ve done here!

Some pics from the evening, taken by Zep and Paul.
