We were out at the Cheese and Cider Festival today and enjoyed performing there. It was a strange autumnal day with us dancing in warm, gorgeous sunshine, interspersed with massive downpours, the noise of which drowned out our music such that Sian our fiddle player could not hear herself play!
We carried on dancing indoors for about half an hour, with our newly refurbished horse called Jaunty being taken around by new recruits Julie and Archie - well done guys! Also there were Roger and Alison who also have just joined the side and they spectated, getting a feel for what the side does. Here’s some pics of our day which was good fun. The smiles proved it was so!
