Following our recent 4 day trip to Greenman Fest, Sweyn’s Ey Morris did a pleasant evening dance out at Bishopston, Gower, by the Joiners and Valley Hotel. We started off as soon as we had numbers to form a set, being aware of the limited light available at this time of year, and managed to dance for around an hour before the light faded.
Here’s some pics (taken by Paul & Geoff) of us dancing Lads of Bunchum Adderbury, and Sherrif’s Ride Lichfield. Other dances performed to the music of Sian, Kev and Di, included Ring of Bells and Vandals of Hammerwich Lichfield, Caseg Eira Nantgarw, Constant Billy Headington, Skirmish & Valentines Fieldtown, Rosetree Bampton and Bonnie Green Garters to finish. The evening concluded with us making plans for a dance out next Thursday evening, when we hope to visit Loughor Boat Club. If we are able to dance out for the remainder of September, it will have been one of our longest ever dance seasons! Looks like our practice sessions will be starting early October. Interested? Give us a shout.
